Dr. Jess Marcon Zabecki is the CEO and founder of Lettura Insights LLC. An applied research psychologist and experienced executive-level leader, Dr. Marcon Zabecki uses her expertise in psychology, strategy and research, data and analysis to solve high-profile challenges across diverse domains. A proven leader in violence prevention and research programs for federal and state agencies, she spearheaded the translation of research findings and data into actionable policy and programs while ensuring the effectiveness of those activities. Her expertise cuts across roles—from developing policy and writing congressional testimony, to managing research and evaluation programs, understanding workplace climate and retention, to leading strategic plans and products. As a program director, Dr. Marcon Zabecki is a strong communicator who translates complex material no matter the subject-matter, and a compassionate and collaborative mentor. As a consultant, she aims to help organizations reach their full potential—to ensure program activities align to goals while achieving intended outcomes, leverage research and data to shape strategic objectives, and develop products to gather and share insights.

In 2021, she was awarded the Department of the Navy’s Meritorious Civilian Service Award. Dr. Marcon Zabecki is a published author of numerous scientific journal articles and technical reports. She holds a PhD in Psychology with a focus on experimental methods and cognitive psychology from The University of Texas at El Paso.

An advocate of lifelong learning, she is passionate about the science of reading and takes courses on structured literacy in her free time. You can find her watching Yankees baseball and enjoying time with her spouse, children and their Welsh Terrier.
